Stepping into The Wandering Paisa was like entering a bohemian oasis celebrating Colombian culture. The staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment throughout our stay. The shared bathrooms were well-maintained, and the availability of solo/private options was a huge plus for added convenience.Exploring the hostel, we discovered a plethora of activities on offer, from happy hours at the Paisa Bar to live music on the sundeck/stage. The hostel's mission to foster friendships between different cultures truly shone through as we engaged with fellow travelers and local musicians.Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the El Estadio metro station, we had easy access to explore Medellin's vibrant city center and surrounding sights. The hostel's decor paid homage to South American and Colombian heritage, creating a unique and immersive experience for guests from all walks of life.The Wandering Paisa provided us with a safe and cozy retreat in the heart of Medellin, offering a perfect blend of cultural immersion and modern comfort. We left with fond memories and new friendships, eager to return and relive the authentic backpacker experience this hostel is renowned for.
